Double wheel tethers for 2011
1y ago from F1Technical.net - The wheel tethers at each corner will double for the upcoming F1 season, as the Technical Working Group has decided to address the problem of flying wheels during accidents, an all too common occurrence as of late. And while there have not been any fatalities in F1 since they were introduced, but 2009 saw Henry Surtees' taken away by a stray wheel, despite the traditional single wheel tether.
