F1 is a team sport, in the same way as one supports a football team, so one supports a F1 team. A football team manager chooses tactics and decides how the team play, so it is with a F1 team.

It cost 10's of millions of pounds to maintain a F1 teanm, and the drivers cannot be in charge. They are just the jockeys, and cannot make major team decisions; that is the responsibility of the team manager.

It has always been like this since the start of F1 in 1952.

Under the dictatorship of Max Moseley we had this stupid regulation forced on us, because Moseley was not a racing man just an opportunist lawyer who saw his main-chance in F1.

The Moseley legacy of idiocy is now being put right, and the removal of this ridiculous "non-team" regulation is one of the prime examples of this.
