FIA bans re-active ride height system

4mo ago from ManipeF1.com - The innovative re-active ride height system being developed by Lotus, Ferrari and others has been banned by the FIA after it was classified as a moving aerodynamic device on Friday. The system, which prevents the front of a car diving under braking, was first tested by Lotus during the young driver test in November, was deemed legal by the FIA last year but the governing body's stance was changed following inquiries from other teams.
