Symonds: VR results didn't match potential
3mo ago from PlanetF1.com - Pat Symonds, now a consultant with Marussia Racing, believes that the team were unable to fulfill their potential in 2011 due to aerodynamic woe.
Since entering the sport in 2010, Virgin (now Marussia) made use of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to design their cars, a decision which had limited success. As a result, the team will now make use of McLaren's wind tunnel ahead of the new season.
