McLaren play down possible engine switch again
3mo ago from F1Pulse.com - McLaren has denied speculation that it was in contact with Pure, expected to enter Formula 1 as an engine supplier in 2014, for a deal to replace Mercedes in the future. The Woking-based outfit will be running on Mercedes engines at no cost for the final year in 2012, following which it will pay just over $10 million a year for the units from the German manufacturer.
